: Bat Hunt :

"Perfectly Retro :)"

submission: : Bat Hunt :
date: September 3, 2005

It reminded me of duckhunt on the old NES - and it was perfectly set out with no real bugs i could find.

Nice job.

LL - Ddevil

"Excellent :D"

submission: LL - Ddevil
date: June 29, 2005

Damn - that movie was excellent, normally when i watch lock or clock legion stuff i don't expect too much (often i am surprised) but this one blew me away :)

The animation was very smooth and the art was excellent, as well as the good use of System of a Down - synchronised perfectly with the movie.

Oh and i did notice the subliminal vote 5 ;)

Author's Response:

Thank you!
I'm glad you enjoyed it and also glad you picked up on one of many subliminal messages in there. :D
Thanks for the review.

Zelda DX

"Erm... OK"

submission: Zelda DX
date: June 28, 2005

I can see many ways to help you improve this.

Number one. Finish it before you submit it - i know this is only the game engine but there is no real point in submitting it in its current form.

Number two. Increase the size of the window - it is very small and would be better if it took up a large proportion of the screen, you have a lot of room left in which you have chosen to advertise.

Number three. Introduce enemies and allow the player to access all available buildings.

Apart from that there seems to be a lot of potential in this project and from what you have let us see it is clear that you could do good things with this game.

MWT2 The Escape

"Very Dark"

submission: MWT2 The Escape
date: June 24, 2005

I loved the style of the graphics - the dark and tense atmosphere worked well in the context of the movie.

The only thing that really bothered me wa that some of the animation was not very smooth but that could be easily improved.

Author's Response:

yea, I'm going back to my normal ways... my experimentation is losing me some fans. Glad you enjoyed it though.

Short frame by frame

"Nice FBF"

date: June 24, 2005

Only a few things i noticed that could be improved upon - an increas on on the frames per second to make the animation smoother.

The colour on the tree at the end detracted from the movie - it wasn't smooth enough and i feel it would have looked better without.

The music was OK at first but it started to get on my nerves towards the end :)

Snowman Dressup

"A bit out of season no? ;)"

Genius - Rolf Harris for the music :D

There was not much too do in it however and it was not very different from any other dress up game =/

made it this morning...

"Too short"

date: June 24, 2005

There was very little point to t and it was way too short.

If you extended and gave it a plot it would be far superior.

The graphics and the animation were good and show potential.

dodge game

"Seen it before"

submission: dodge game
date: June 24, 2005

I have seen games just like this one before - and to be honest this one had little new to offer.

The graphics have been improved from many of these (slightly) but the concept and the execution are the same as any other.

One thing i really didn't like was the "shield" it basically just made you invulnerable.

It was also rather short and the addition of a lot of new levels would help a lot.

Author's Response:

ok thanks 4 the advice, i didnt like the idea of the shield makin u invulnerable for the whole level either which is y i made the last level with teleports which stopped the shield from working all the way through the level

Emo Vs Ninja v1.1

"Original and funny"

submission: Emo Vs Ninja v1.1
date: June 24, 2005

My only complaint would be the long time it takes to finnaly get into it - it would have possibly been easier if it was all a smaller text in one screen which could then be forwarded, or possible even at the loadscreen.

The graphic for the blood was also really cool, and it was funny but also true.

NINJA > EMO ;)

Turkle's broometang

"Funny :)"

date: June 24, 2005

Nicely animated and good graphics - i like the style of the drawings.

Only thing i can think of to help improve it would be the addition of a preloader with a loadbar or with a percentage.
