Perfectly Retro :)

It reminded me of duckhunt on the old NES - and it was perfectly set out with no real bugs i could find.

Nice job.

Erm... OK

I can see many ways to help you improve this.

Number one. Finish it before you submit it - i know this is only the game engine but there is no real point in submitting it in its current form.

Number two. Increase the size of the window - it is very small and would be better if it took up a large proportion of the screen, you have a lot of room left in which you have chosen to advertise.

Number three. Introduce enemies and allow the player to access all available buildings.

Apart from that there seems to be a lot of potential in this project and from what you have let us see it is clear that you could do good things with this game.

A bit out of season no? ;)

Genius - Rolf Harris for the music :D

There was not much too do in it however and it was not very different from any other dress up game =/

Seen it before

I have seen games just like this one before - and to be honest this one had little new to offer.

The graphics have been improved from many of these (slightly) but the concept and the execution are the same as any other.

One thing i really didn't like was the "shield" it basically just made you invulnerable.

It was also rather short and the addition of a lot of new levels would help a lot.

ok thanks 4 the advice, i didnt like the idea of the shield makin u invulnerable for the whole level either which is y i made the last level with teleports which stopped the shield from working all the way through the level

Not very original

I have seen several games recently just like this one - the only addition you have made is the chance to change statistics of the car and to change the colour - which are good small changes.

One of the major problems was the frame rate - increase this and it will look much smoother and there will be less lag.

Another problem was the lack of sound - a simple song taken from the audio portal would do wonders in making the game more enjoyable.

One small bug i noticed was the borders of the track could be crossed - it would be much better if it acted like a barrier and stopped the car before it left the track.

If these changes are made the game could be significantly improved.

It was Ok but...

There are many things which could be improved - one of the key things being the static background, as well as the fact the graphic used for this was not very pleasing on the eye ;) Tweening a better looking background so it moves with the fox would be much better.

Another annoyance was the way in which the hunter moved - he would walk forward normally, stop for a while then slowly move backwards - the picture did not even reverse!

Increasing the distance of the foxes jump would also help as sometmies it was barely possible to get past the bear traps.

Excellent

The interactivity in this was wonderful - much better than the common click+drag dress up games. The colour mixing - though a relatively simple addition was very neat and well executed.

One thing that annoyed me was the looped sound - giving the user a choice of music would be nice - though the choice to turn the music off was still present.

I can't wait to see the finished thing :)

It was pretty good but...

If i could i would give the music a negative number - annoying doesn't begin to describe that noise.

Very Nice

I loved it :D

He looked so retarded in the abck seat of the car faliling wildly though :D

Magna responds:

seat belts are uncomfortable.

Not bad

It wasn't too bad - thought it was pretty annoying at first, but looking back on it it wasn't all that bad.
